My husband and I travelled to Ireland last week. We spent a few days in Dublin and a few in Galway, and it was such a special trip. There were several pints of Guinness shared as we tried to split the G, eight museums taken in over the course of the week, a nearly perfect day on a tour of the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher, walking and trains, and hundreds of photos. I am so grateful that we prioritize saving money and saying no to some things in our day-to-day so we can do a trip like this, and I highly recommend that everyone take time as they are able to go somewhere new at least once a year.
We just got home and I’m trying to avoid jet lag by staying awake in daylight hours. I’m exhausted but wanted to get this out to you all so this post is short and sweet - a book report style of the food I ate abroad. Enjoy the snappy newsletter this week!

Things I Like
Using a travel agent for international travel! We have loved everything Tim has planned for us (flights, trains, ferries, private car, group tours) both on this year and last year’s trip. Book with him!
Reality TV in another country is top tier. We discovered the show “I Kissed a Girl” from the UK while on the trip and we are thrilled to be able to keep watching it at home on Hulu. It’s like Love Island UK but with all women. Please watch it so I can talk to somebody about it.
Cooking in my kitchen. After a week of not cooking, I am thrilled that I get to cook dinner tonight. Thank goodness.
May your week be gentle and may you eat well. 🌲🥣
